Baked Sea Bass (Branzino) with Lemon, Herbs & Garlic




Baked Sea Bass (Branzino), such a delicious and simple recipe. Make sure you’re buying sustainable seafood from a good fish store. 

What You’ll Need:

  • 6-8 Garlic Cloves
  • pinch of red chilli pepper flakes
  • Coconut Oil
  • Olive Oil
  • 1 sprig of rosemary
  • 1 sprig of thyme
  • sea salt and pepper
  • 3 slices of lemon
  • 1 butterflied sea bass cleaned and ask them to take the bones out


  1. Oven set to 450F
  2. In a mortar and pestle smash your garlic cloves and chillies
  3. Rub the outside of your fish with love with the garlic and chillies and season with salt and pepper, scoop a teaspoon of coconut oil and place on top of the fish it will melt off
  4. Place on foil on baking sheet, stuff the inside with your lemon and herbs and season as well
  5. Bake lightly covered for 10-12 mins and then remove the cover for 3 more minutes to get a more crispy skin
  6. Drizzle with Olive Oil, season and squeeze with lemon and serve!
