Baked Sea Bass (Branzino), such a delicious and simple recipe. Make sure you’re buying sustainable seafood from a good fish store.
What You’ll Need:
- 6-8 Garlic Cloves
- pinch of red chilli pepper flakes
- Coconut Oil
- Olive Oil
- 1 sprig of rosemary
- 1 sprig of thyme
- sea salt and pepper
- 3 slices of lemon
- 1 butterflied sea bass cleaned and ask them to take the bones out
Method:
- Oven set to 450F
- In a mortar and pestle smash your garlic cloves and chillies
- Rub the outside of your fish with love with the garlic and chillies and season with salt and pepper, scoop a teaspoon of coconut oil and place on top of the fish it will melt off
- Place on foil on baking sheet, stuff the inside with your lemon and herbs and season as well
- Bake lightly covered for 10-12 mins and then remove the cover for 3 more minutes to get a more crispy skin
- Drizzle with Olive Oil, season and squeeze with lemon and serve!
