Apple Pancake Cast-Iron Skillet

Such a yummy morning treat, or if you want add some Haagen-Dazs Classic Vanilla and you’re rockin’ for dessert!

What You’ll Need:

  • 1-2 gala apples medium/small size or 1 large
  • baby cast-iron skillet
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup milk – i use almond milk
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 2 table spoons of brown sugar
  • pinch of sea salt
  • knob of butter
  • icing sugar for show

Method:

  1. Slice your apple thin, 1/8th inch thin
  2. Add you knob of butter and apples to the medium hot cast iron skillet, 4-5 minutes.
  3. Whisk all ingredients in the bowl, slowly pour into cast iron pan and cover  half way up/3/4 full depends how dense you want it
  4. Bake at 350F for 15 minutes or until top is golden 🙂
  5. Dust with icing sugar
